We are happy to come and assess you and your horse for saddle fit and/or show you some of our saddles for you to try for yourself.

Ultimately Manely Equine is out for the best solution for your horse.  On several occasions I have recommended brands not sold by Manely Equine and referred people to the appropriate supplier.

We now charge a call out fee for all assessments.  If you ultimately purchase from Manely Equine we will refund the inital assessment out fee.

Assessments - This has a fixed cost of $50 plus the travel call out fees (based on distance from origin, either my base in Mulwala or, if I am out of town, the place I am staying). Distance rate is 36 cents per kilometre.

To calculate work out how far you are (googlemaps.com is good for that) x that by 2 (return travel) and then x by 0.36.
To travel from Mulwala to a property near Shepparton is 74km
Costs would be 74 x 2 = 148km travelled x 0.36 rate = $53.28
I can then assess how the current saddle fits, if it can be made to fit or what saddle I recommend. Assessments normally take 1.5 hours and involves measurements, photos and seeing the horse work under saddle - be prepared to ride the horse as a horse static (standing still) can be a very different saddle fit to a horse moving.  Also, it is important to have your current saddle for comparison.

During an assessment you will learn the basics in what I look for in saddle fit as well as tips for ongoing maintenance and saddle fit assessment (as little as 30 seconds each ride but SO important).
