For nearly a year we have been offering a saddle rental service on some of our demo saddles with great success to a few customers, now we have decided to extend this service to others.

We understand that purchasing a new saddle is a big move. Also, horses can develop a lot in a matter of months, sometimes exceeding the scope of the existing saddle.

Having seen horses go from a narrow to a medium-wide gullet in 2 (yes 2) weeks this service is particularly aimed at those with horses with muscle atrophy and no topline or young horses building muscle.

Rental costs range from $45 per month up to $150 per month depending on the saddle you are requesting (obviously Rental costs depends on saddle value)

You will get an initial 5 day trial period to see if the saddle is correct for your horse and yourself. During this trial period you are still liable for points 1, 2 and 3 below.
It is possible to purchase the rental saddle – please contact us for a buyout price.

Freight costs to you are payable at cost - please contact us for costs - we use AusPost or Australian Air Express.

The Fine Print – by applying for a saddle you are agreeing to these conditions.

1. Saddle must be returned with no damage. Fair Wear and Tear is acceptable (specifically wear on flaps, seat and girth tabs). Damage – nicks, scrapes or scratches in the leather are not acceptable and will be charged for. Should the saddle become damaged during the rental period please contact Manely Equine Pty Ltd and advise us.
2. The renter is liable for the full value of the saddle during the term of the contract. This includes return freight and the time the saddle is in transit back to Manely Equine Pty Ltd.
3. The renter is liable for all freight charges.
4. Initial rental period is for 3 months. Saddles returned within this time will still be liable for the 3 month charge. After the first 3 months the rental period becomes month to month. Any saddle returned before the month anniversary is still liable for the full monthly rental.
5. Monthly charges are payable via credit card on the anniversary of rental of saddle.
   
   

Please complete checkout by selecting what type of saddle you are after and what size - No freight will be charged at this time until the saddle is ready for despatch. Once we receive your request we will check what we have in stock or available shortly and contact you.

Then print off and return the attached pdf agreement. You are advised to keep a copy for your own records.

Saddle Rental Agreement
